The Story

Deidre has lived on the wild west coast of British Columbia for most of her life. She always found commercial soap irritating. After researching the ingredients and not being able to pronounce most of the them, she decided to learn how to make her own soap.

She made soap for over a year for family & friends in her home on the sunshine coast. Then she made the move to Vancouver Island's far westcoast, Ucluelet.

In Ucluelet the average rain fall is over 11 feet per year! Rainwater Soap Co. was born. She has devloped a west coast inspired line of natural soaps. Some of her favourite ingredients are calendula, anything invigorating with citrus undertones, poppy seeds, westcoast clay she collects herself and of course, rainwater!
